Prayer List
for the week of Febrary 27, 2005
Amen.
As the parish family of St. Alban's, we invite you to pray with us for the Church and the World:

Please pray for members and friends of St. Alban's congregation:  Allen, Brett, Mildred, Christopher, Virginia, Josh, Judy, Laura, Donald, Gary, Wayne, Aiden & Aaron, Doug, Samantha and Nancy.  Please pray for those from Tillamook and all men and women serving in our armed forces at home and overseas, especially those in Iraq, Afghanistan and Haiti.

Please pray for the countless number of victims who were killed or are suffering from the effects of the Tsunami in East Asia.

Please pray for all who are victims of Cancer, HIV, AIDS, Mad Cow Disease and Bird Flu, and pray that a cure for these terrible diseases will be found soon. 

Please pray for people thoughout the world who live daily with war, violence, oppression, and suppression of human rights.

Please pray for peace throughout the world; for peace within our own hearts.

Please pray for the children of the world who have no voice on their behalf.

Please pray for those who live alone and who have no one who cares for them.

Please pray for the dying and the dead.

Please pray for your family, friends and loved ones.

Third Sunday in Lent:

Almighty God, you know that we have no power in ourselves to help ourselves: Keep us both outwardly in our bodies and inwardly in our souls, that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen.
